“I’m not running away from hard work, I’m too lazy to run”
If your goal were to gain a load of weight, what would you do?
You’d probably:
– Keep eating until you feel you can’t eat another calorie, at every mealtime
– Eat bucket loads of processed, calorific food
– Drink a lot of alcohol
– Eat out a lot
– Not worry too much about exercising
… And the list continues
So when you want to lose weight, it would make sense to do the opposite, right?
But why do we find this so much harder, as humans?
Environment
Our environment is pretty much set up for us to gain weight
Calories are ready made for us to consume all hours of the day, and however many times of the day we wish
To do the opposite, we have to THINK, we have to PLAN, and we have to TRY
So yeah, life is a bit unfair in that way
But dwelling on fairness of the world isn’t going to lose you that weight
Just think of it like this:
Reaching your ideal body weight and shape will feel that bit sweeter, knowing you’ve worked for it ☺
Take care and stay safe! Yours In Health,
