Motivation, like I talk about with willpower… is not an unlimited resource.
Think of it like a money pot.
Sometimes there it lots of it.
Other times it’s scarce.
Why? Because, life happens, because you’re a human being.
Weight loss motivation comes in waves.
Hence why it’s important not to set the foundations of your diet on motivation.
So how do you stay on the gain train when motivation is low?
2 ways:
1. Education
Understand the science behind losing weight.
Understand the numbers and how to manipulate them around your motivation waves
2. Know your WHY
Your deep, meaningful, emotional attachment to the reason you want to lose weight
And no, that can’t be just because you want to lose weight
FIND A DEEPER MEANING THAN THAT
MAKE IT CLEAR
It’s true motivation is what will get you started
But weight loss motivation, if relied upon, will also finish the journey off pretty quickly too 😉
