When it comes to gaining muscle, there are a few things you need to focus on
Any gym programme will work if you’re training that muscle to fatigue
Once you’ve got the exercise part of the pie sorted, then the nutrition aspect requires you to focus on 2 main things:
1. Eating enough calories
Quite simply if you don’t give the body enough fuel to enable it to grow, it won’t
Muscle is not fundamental to the body for survival, so it’s not going to prioritise building muscle voluntarily
You’re going to have to work for it!
2. Eating enough protein
Protein is the nutrient, which builds, maintains and repairs muscle cells
Without the tools to grow the muscle, the gym programming is irrelevant for your goal
As I said above, muscle growth is not an overnight sensation
Growing muscle will take months and years of hard work

2900 calories = 1lb muscle
On average (depending on a variety of factors), a human is able to grow 1lb muscle per month

It’s SLOW
