Here’s how to not become boring whilst dieting
“Steph I’d love to lose weight but I don’t want to become a bore whilst doing so”
These words above scream to me “the all or nothing mindset”
And I don’t blame you for feeling this way, mainstream diets have conditioned you into this attitude over the years and years you’ve been dieting
Let me tell you, many of my Lean Beans work with me because they want to have it all – a social life and losing weight
Because that’s what I promise (and obviously deliver)
My Lean Beans get to go out to dinner and still lose weight by the end of the week
How?
- Because they understand the science of a consistent calorie deficit
- They plan and organise their social events and calories in unison
Before Debbie became a Lean Bean she would stick to her 1500 calorie target in the week, no problems
The weekend would come, she would go out with her friends and end up consuming more than 1500 calories so she stopped tracking, she didn’t want to know the damage
She would get to Monday feeling like a failure, and have to start all over again
BUT NOW
She plans ahead if she knows she’s going to dinner
She looks at the menu ahead of time, works out the calories and banks enough in the week to ensure she ends up the average week in a deficit
She gets to Monday and she’s lost weight, gained confidence and fired up for yet another consistent week
And the thing is here you see, working your social events and calorie targets out in unison at the start of the week, takes the pressure off “gosh I don’t want to be boring and not go to dinner for the 3rd week in a row”
Debbie can go to dinner and lose weight, and so can you
She can do anything, any social event, consume any food or drink any alcohol
.. but the catch is planning, and understanding the science
Anything worth having takes time, and work
But if you want it enough, anything is possible 🙂
